Hi! I am Matilda. I am 26 years old and I live in Helsinki with my boyfriend and our dogs.
I am originally from Turku, but I decided that I wanted to study journalism and communication, so therefor I moved to Helsinki in 2016. In the summer of 2019 I graduated from University of Helsinki with a Bachelor’s degree in Journalism and Communication, and after that I’ve been working as a photographer full time. In 2021 I got the honour to be nominated in Way Up North Awards in the categories “Europe’s Best Wedding Photographer” and “Europe’s Best Young Wedding Photographer”, and I was also one of the finalists in Vuoden Hääkuva 2022 and 2024.
Working as a wedding photographer has been my dream since I got my first camera when I was 10 years old. With me as your wedding photographer you can expect someone who is calm and takes care of you during every step of the day. During the portrait session I crack jokes, make you laugh and feel comfortable, while taking portraits you will love still in many years to come. While during the ceremony and party I am calm and blend in really well while capturing the real emotions of the day.
When I am not working I spend a lot of time in the stable, I go for long walks with our dogs, and of course I spend a lot of time with my boyfriend and my friends. I love reading, watching movies, riding my road bike, going to concerts, window shopping interior and watching formula 1.
